  35. I don't have the hardware around to run the benchmarks, but I know 
  36. enough technical stuff to help out.  My guess is that performance on 
  37. NT and on Win95 will be about dead on for the same hardware platform. 
  38. The stuff that NT slows down has more to do with I/O, Windows calls 
  39. and 16 bit Windows code.  None of this stuff should be happening very 
  40. much in the inner loop of 32 bit Lightwave's rendering code.
